It was the second time we had a Womo dinner there, and I can only recommend it. Very good there.

The motorhome dinner is delicious

We were here with the motorhome to eat and can only say good things. The restaurant is in the forest on the country road outside of Butzbach. You can take long walks or bike rides on the forest paths before or after eating. The food itself was what is called home-style. It (goose breast with red cabbage) tasted very good, the portion was more than sufficient. In addition, extremely nice service. It was an absolutely successful trip for us and we can recommend the Forsthaus without hesitation.

Fantastic destination for hiking and mountain biking. Especially pleasant in the middle of the forest in summer. Delicious food, nice service, large portions and the price-performance ratio fits. What more do you want?

Well known in the city for years, hearty and very tasty, traditional food. From seasonal mushrooms to game, there is something for everyone. Highly recommended. Very friendly innkeepers and a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. Well suited for a stop on the way to the local mountain, on a hike or a bike tour.

Super delicious food at absolutely fair prices. Nice staff, fast service and no long waiting times. Definitely highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

It is actually 3.5 stars. The website gives more hope, is very nice and up-to-date. The ambience inside could be more loving and cozy, outside it is certainly wonderful in summer! Our service was very friendly, nice and attentive. It can happen that two main courses were already out on Sunday at 5 p.m., but it was a shame. We both chose the rum steak, it was okay, too many fries, but the salad was delicious, the yoghurt mustard dressing was really good. Our drinks were well chilled and delicious too. We were not dissatisfied, thank you for the evening and wish the team all the best!

Very nice forest house, restaurant with delicious food and plentiful portions and a beautiful beer garden. Hikers, cyclists stop here ... as there are great locations in the area for this kind of relaxation. But there is always someone who doesn't like something. That's how it is, always and everywhere 😉

The forester's house is an authority - a fixed destination for hikes, a stage destination for bike tours, etc. Everything is OK here, just stop and take a break.

Very nice restaurant in the forest. The food is excellent. Steaks to the point. Venison and venison sausage legendary. Special requests from the chef and the young waitress are no problem at all. The friendliness of the older service is not so great. The cook and the young waitress fully compensate for this. Any time.

Food is good and there is always something to drink for thirsty cyclists or hikers outside of the opening times.

A wonderful restaurant I was in 1.5 years ago and because of the very unfriendly wait staff I had told myself not to go there anymore ... a renewed visit this year has confirmed this again. It is a shame because it is super idyllic and the food is okay.

The goose was outstanding! The schnitzel as well. Nice cozy restaurant and friendly service. Good selection of beers.
